Holiday Letters

Writing Christmas letters is one of the many things I personally love about the Holidays. Writing letters in general is pretty great, but sending out Christmas cards to places all over really makes it exciting.
Yes it is easy to communicate through social media these days, and maybe getting letters have gone somewhat out of style and it isn’t done as often, but I genuinely enjoy writing them.
This year I’m sending six. Three out of the country, and three within the states. For me, it’s really fun to see when people get theirs and what they think of them. I love that a card can hold so much meaning within them. The person who wrote that letter took time out of their day, thought about you and sent it out. Writing letters that go far distances is a great reminder that the world is so much bigger than you think it is.Getting and sending cards from all over is a great way to learn the differences between your life and another persons, which is really interesting! Once, I had a pen pal from Africa, though I’m not even sure that she even received the letter it was really cool to think about how different our lives were.
If at anypoint, you want to mail me a letter then you can! And I’ll mail you one too don’t worry! Just email me at Behindhazeleyes06@gmail.com or tweet me on twitter (Kenziedear22).
There’s just something about writing a Christmas card that makes me even more exciting for Christmas Day!
Who have you sent Christmas cards to? I’ve already written one that’s made me quite emotional and honestly, I cannot wait to give it to the person.

I'm the worst person in the world when it comes to sending Christmas cards! I just forget every year! This is coming from someone who's taken three months to send her Save the Date wedding cards…

I love getting letters in the mail. Like you said, there is something so special when you realize that someone was thinking about you and took the time to write a letter.
